Nobody starts with a decade’s worth of sales & branding experience. For Bryan, it was no different. Despite being just 30 something, Bryan had already worked with everyone from small, local businesses to large, international businesses. And not just sorting through mail either. His experiences cover developing & deploying campaigns, creating sales material & building digital media platforms. Not to mention that he’s dirtied his hands in every level of sales. Direct to consumers, business owners, marketing firms, across the nation & internationally.
Bryan’s renaissance-like interest in, well, everything began at Central College in Pella, Iowa. One major wasn’t enough. Bryan doubled up in both vocal performance & jazz studies. Thirsty for even more, he joined, quite literally, every ensemble Central offered.
But what do you do when you’ve conquered everything a small, Midwestern college offers? Go to London, of course. Bryan chose to study sociology & business at LMU & jazz theory studies at Morley College of Music.
Post college, Bryan took his energy & entered the world of retail management with Godiva. His infectious attitude caught on with the company’s executive officers & before long, he was a go-to consultant. Bryan left his mark internationally by guiding the lone Iowa location to the #1 spot in sales & service.
Once again, Bryan found himself too big for the pond & needed to find his London. His first attempt came in B2B sales for a local 'couponing' company. They tasked him with growing their company’s reach & database. Bryan increased their subscriber database by 459% in 6 months. The company was later sold to Gannett. Bryan set out to mold his own business in the world of social media. Finally given the opportunity to mash together all of his years of everything, Red Shoe Media was born. The company grew rapidly.
At last, Bryan had found a pond to his liking.
